Watercooler Wednesday #114

Middle of the week. You know what that means. Time for a Watercooler Wednesday challenge!

Penny is our host. She chose some wonderful colors –

I stared at them for a while. I just pulled out my inks and a stamp set. I went with a favorite that will be retiring –

I created a simple ‘Thanks’ card. Really, is there any other type of card for me to create?

My flowers were all randomly stamped. Followed by the nicely inked up centers! I like the contrast of the Calypso Coral words. And, of the course the addition of the bow. These have become my favorites!

Friday – everyone seems to love Fridays! And, why not just have fun with it?

I want to share this simply wonderful card we made last night with downline, Cheryl. It was her first home show last night –

I changed the sentiment because I forgot to stamp it last night.

But this card was SO easy! It’s just strips of washi tape on layered card stock! I don’t have this washi tape yet – so I needed to make this card!

How easy is that? Super easy.

For extra added dimension, I popped all the layers of the card stock. It’s amazing just what this will do for a card.

Well, I must say, I hadn’t done a home show in a looooonnnng time. Cheryl and I had a blast! Great projects. Fantastic people. Wonderful host. Yummy food. You couldn’t ask for more!

It’s Tuesday. And, I believe I’m a week late on this post.

Time for Try a Stampin’ Or Not On Tuesday challenge!

Great sketch for showing off new Stampin’ Up colors –

Sketch #273, theme : Butterflies. I can handle that!

I pulled out these Thinlits, again to create this –

Quite a sweet card!

Uses all five new colors, Peekaboo Peach, Flirty Flamingo, Sweet Sugarplum, Emerald Envy and ‘For You’ in Dapper Denim. I did add Pink Pirouette behind the flower. It really needed it.

The butterfly is a retired one that I added a couple of left over pieces from the Swirly Scribbles cut out. that addition just made the butterfly!

Step It Up June, We Create Blog Hop

I have a busy blogging day today! Three post in one day! Whew!

I love the concept here. Create two cards, one simple and one stepped up!

My simple card was created after I received my preorder. I just started playing around this wonderful new stuff and I came up with this –

Once I got my preorder in – finally – I knew exactly what I wanted to do with this sketch! I wanted to make another shaker card –

Isn’t this awesome!?!? I loved how it just ‘pops’ with happiness! It’s these colors I think.

It’s a generous 5 x 5 peek-through one too.

Closed again, you can see those wonderful Swirly Scribbles Framelits little flowers!

Such a sweet card for Marsha’s sketch! I really liked how the shaker moves. Such fun to play with. You should see what the other design team created at Watercooler Wednesday too – some great stuff!

June Blogging Friends Blog Hop

Welcome to the June edition of the Blogging Friends Blog Hop! This is the first of three very special posts today. All featuring NEW products that you can order NOW!

This month our hop features new stuff! So, how about I show off the new In-Colors for 2016-2018?

You know me, I have to have a theme – more than what our general theme is – because that’s the way I stamp!

I created this little nifty holder first –

Sort of simple in design. But, what’s in the box? Not so simple –

Of course, F I V E cards!!!

Yes, a Little Gift of sorts! The focal point here is lol, Dapper Denim!!!

These cards made me say Hooray when it all came together. Each card has all of the five new In-Colors, one a focal point.

The focal point here is Peekaboo Peach. Looks yummy enough to eat!

Kudos for colors that work really well together! And, with this adorable Swirly Scribbles Thinlits…….oh my! Makes a great focal point in Emerald Envy.
