Team Meeting time again. We always have a swap to exchange new ideas and techniques. And, this meeting there were So many great swaps.
And, here is my swap –
I chose the He is Risen stamp set along with the Labels Collection Framelits, again. I know. I just featured it last week. But, these are 2 items that work really well together, and Easter is just around the corner.
I wanted this card to be clean, simple and striking. Think I accomplished that. I also wanted to feature items from the Occasions Mini Catalog and something you can get for FREE from Sale-A-Bration. Did that too.
Supplies. He is Risen Stamp Set. StazOn Ink. Pear Pizzaz and Very Vanilla card stocks. Extra Large Oval Punch. Labels Collection Framelits. Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder. Designer Frames Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (Sale-A-Bration item). Pear Pizzaz 1/2″ Poly Stitch Ribbon.
The key to lining up the frame/embossing/oval is to first cut your ‘labels’ from the Framelits. Line up the label in the Designer Frames Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and use a little Dotto to make sure it stays in place as you emboss. Stamp and punch your image and apply it to the center of the recessed embossed area, yes, it is really that way. And, I used several Diminsionals on all the Label areas. It just adds something raised to this card.
Well, what do you think? I love to read your comments –
Happy Stampin’
