I did it. I found a little ‘me time’.
Well, actually I was cleaning up my stampin’ ‘stuff’ that’s strewn about the house. I’ve still had this sketch on my mind. As I had a stack of scraps to put away, I had three colors together that caught my attention, Real Red, Blackberry Bliss and Crumb Cake.
I went back to this sketch from the Creative Challenge Club. See their great idea –
Nice. Simple. Clean. I just loved it.
This is what I came up with –
I am very literal when it comes to any sketches. I seem to want to follow them to the last detail. So, I think I did a pretty good job here.
The ‘DSP’ is a partial card front from a previous Paper Pumpkin kit, Noel. Bet you didn’t realize that, did you?
Next was the Decorative Dots embossed card stock. Something simple to add a little texture.
I was so excited because I used the new free stamp set, Good Greetings from Stampin’ Up. It has every greeting you can think of – and ones you wished you always had too! This added a nice balance to the whole card.
This could go either for a birthday, invitation, or Christmas card. You agree?
Love to hear what you think.
Happy Stampin’
