Here is our latest two-week challenge –

Optional Theme : Vintage

When I think vintage, I think of old type flowers and certain colors.

I chose the Many Layered Blossoms Dies in Very Vanilla and Pool Party. Pool Party is soo retro to me. I thought the new Just Jade In Color was a retro compliment too atop Very Vanilla.

The sentiment is from the Many Mates stamp set.

Kind of vintage then? With a twist, lol!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest challenge –

I decided to play with new stuff again today!

This is the beautiful Blossoms In Bloom bundle, made with a twist.

I started by stamping the flowers in So Saffron. I added the Seaside Spray die cut flower layer, followed by a flower layer in Smoky Slate.

Once the flowers where finished, I did the unthinkable. I cut the whole in thing in half. Yes, you read the right.

Then I reversed the panels placing them on a So Saffron base. It turned out soo pretty though!!! Wouldn’t you agree? The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

Joy of Sets May Floral Blog Hop

Welcome to my second hop for the day!

I decided to try my hand at another new bundle, Blossoms In Bloom, I just received –

What do you think? It’s soo pretty and really with minimal pieces, stamp and two dies for the layered flowers.

I stamped the flowers in Petal Pink on Whisper White for a crisp, bright color. The next flower layer was in Petal Pink, followed by the top, thin layer in Very Vanilla. It softened the flowers.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set, stamped in Crumb Cake. I punched it down to size from the new Lovely Labels Pick A Punch (awesome punch that you can make several different sizes of labels from one punch).
