Hello my Sunday friends!

Feelin’ the love this month and I’m sharing a card today, yes, on a Sunday!

I am playing with a few kits today creating Valentine cards for upcoming events.

Here, I combined the January 2025 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Hearts For You, with the Saying Thanks Kit from the Kits Collection, to create this –

Isn’t this simply lovely? I just ❤️ this card!

To create it, I used the card base and a brushed gold heart from the January 2025 Paper Pumpkin kit, Hearts For You –

And the multiple heart overlay is from the Saying Thanks Kit, see below.

After going through different sentiments, I decided to just use die cut letters from the Mini Alphabet Dies for a simply stated sentiment.

It is perfect like this!

Our theme this week is a Valentine for our favorite sweetheart!

I created this fun, heart flap, gatefold card using the Hearts of Elegance Bundle!

Untied, you can see the inside.

I love this pattern paper, Season of Elegance Designer Series Paper for the elevated look of these hearts. The Cherry Cobbler is a nice, deep, rich red. Very nice for Valentine’s Day!

See how pretty this ribbon closure is? It is just lovely!

The Adhesive Backed Heart Sequins look soo pretty on this card. It is the finishing touch this card needed!

Here is this week’s new color challenge to spark your creativity –

Some of my favorite colors!

I used these colors with this lovely Pretty Petals stamp set. This stamp has shading built in when you stamp it! Both for the flowers and the greenery.

I paired the stamped image with this sweet sentiment from Mixed Labels, simply stamped in Real Red.

The Real Red & White Baker’s Twine from the Holiday Mini works perfectly for other projects too!

Our theme this week features Valentine cards with animals, who doesn’t love a cute animal??

….or maybe a not so cute animal –

Isn’t this just adorable?? I was definitely thinking outside the box with this card! I just love it!

I started with the crabs cut straight from the Friends Of The Ocean Designer Series Paper. I love how the dies coordinate so if you are not feeling up to stamping, you can just die cut them!

Next I added the ‘kelp’ or ‘seaweed’ hearts using the old favorite Golden Greenery Dies.

For a soft color, the detailed heart from the Basic Beige was the right shade here. I also stamped the sentiment in Basic Beige as well. Yes, it is light, but I wanted the soft look as almost a whisper. It is, afterall, a Valentine card!

Since Sale-a-bration is in full swing, our theme this week is our favorite Sale-a-bration item.

I am showing two today, the Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper, and the Purple Adhesive Backed Sequins in this sweet card –

I also featured the Hugs For Love Bundle. I always love a great punch and this is another must have shape. It is nice as there is another coordinating stamp that goes with the punch too!

I added a simple triple bow as well as the Sale-a-bration sequins to the card.

Favorite New January – April 2025 Bundle

Our theme this week is all about the new upcoming January – April Mini catalog. This will be a great look at new products!

As always, there are soo many great new products in these Mini catalogs. I am drawn to this Beautiful Butterflies Bundle –

I combined Daffodil Delight, with the black and white pattern from the Halloween Spells Designer Series Paper. I added some detailing with a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Marker.

I love the big, bold size of the butterfly in the bundle. I only adhered the body allowing the wings to flutter.

This sentiment is in the bundle too! I love words like this as we can always use them! I used the Labeled with Love Punch to punch it out. The way it is written, it leaves an area for the butterfly to float above it.

The bundle has some great options with a Hybrid Embossing Folder. Stay tuned.

Nice, bright, fun color to start the year off!

This is a favorite set of dies for me, Simply Zinnias. They can be found, sadly, on the Last Chance list! I was shocked when I found this out. I just need to show then off a few more times!

The flowers are soo fun, having realistic detailing.

Yes, the stamp set is on the Last Chance list as well! The message simply stated. Also a favorite of mine!

Did you notice this pretty embossed background? It is the Starstruck Embossing Folder. It will be a freebie for Sale-a-bration which is just right around the corner! Matched the card pretty nicely!

Our theme this week features winter birthdays!

We are having a winter of upwards of 80° here is Texas, so something sunny, bright, and sweet is what came to mind –

Also using new products too!

I layered two pattern paper strips of the Wildflower Birthday Designer Series Paper together to create the side border. I placed those on top of a Forever Plaid embossed panel.

This lovely sentiment is from With You In Mind. I think it’ll be a favorite stamp for me! To tie in the gold from the pattern paper, the die cut tassels were the way to go! I love the detail of individual strings that can be curled!

I took the title literally! I repeatedly stamped ‘Let it snow’ from the Snowy Wonder stamp set. I was inspired by one of the pattern papers from Stampin’ Up.

I also carefully added snowflakes too.

I wanted to keep the card simple, so I added the Pool Party Pompom all around the card! The card is just adorable!

Our theme this week features animals of all sorts.

I hadn’t played with this adorable pattern from the Snowy Scenes Designer Series Paper or the Snowy Wonder stamp set. Today was the day! Look how adorable –

Lots of visual and tactile texture on this card! The embossing, the pom pom ribbon, and the snowflakes!

I hand cut these two adorable penguins. I used the Last Chance, Deckled Circles and Deckled Rectangles, to create some interest in these basic shapes.

I added embossing from the Snowflake Sky 3D folder, which really took this card up a notch.

What great colors for a nontraditional Christmas card –

I love these little wreaths from Reindeer Fun Dies, especially in Granny Apple Green! After die cutting, I stamped little dots using the confetti from the Iconic Imagery stamp set.

The little bows are so sweet in Berry Burst for the wreath!

The sentiments, Peace Love Joy, are from that stamp set too!

A really simple, sweet, Christmas card!

Gold & Vanilla Christmas

Our theme this week features gold and vanilla Christmas cards.

Gold and Vanilla are gorgeous Christmas colors! Anything look so elegant using these two colors together.

I combined a few elements here. Gold Mercury Vellum as the backdrop on a Very Vanilla base.

Two layered Deckled Rectangles, which are on the Last Chance List and marked own, the top being embossed with the Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder. I used Wink of Stella on the trees for a little shimmer.

The beautiful ‘Christmas’ word is die cut in Gold Foil using the Peaceful Season Dies. It doesn’t get any easier than that to create a gorgeous, elegant card!

I created a whimsical Santa card with this layout –

I always make some sort of Santa card every year. This offset gatefold made for a very cute one this year!

…..and this pattern from the Take A Bow Designer Series Paper is just the sweetest!

Santa’s belt is simply a punched Modern Oval shape in Silver Foil with a strip of Basic Black through the center.
