Here is our current color challenge –
I created a really fun card with these colors!
The flowers are created from some new stand alone dies, the Paper Florist Dies. These are meant to make lots of different kinds of flowers. I created a couple different type here. Some of the centers are from the dies, others are the Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
What is neat about this card is that you can remove the flowers for a hidden message –
I used the new Nested essentials Dies, another great stand alone set of dies, in two ways here. One as a pullout for the flowers. The other for the actual flower pot itself! I cut the larger one in half for the pot, adding a strip of card stock for the lip of the pot. This new Copper Clay is great for a pot!
I used the same dies to make a flag tag for my sweet sentiment. Perfect addition without being to overpowering.
I was really stumped as to what to add for a background until I remembered I ordered the new In Color treat bags! I cut one up and adhered it to Basic White card stock before using it on the card front. They make a perfect, subtle background! I also added a small strip on the inside to tie in all the colors.
I love this card and I am sure it will brighten someone’s day when I send it out.
