Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Stamping Friends challenge!

Here is this week’s new color challenge to spark your creativity –

These colors truly challenged me! But, I am soo pleased with what I came up with! Take a look –

The Granny Apple Green and Highland Heather are classic Halloween colors for me. The Misty Moonlight threw me off. I got creative and used the Just A Note Bundle yet. Blue lines in paper was it!

The pumpkins fell into place from the Party Celebrations stamp set.

The designer Series papers were a great tie in of the colors.

The finishing touch was these little Hues of Blues Flowers, they look like stars to me, to add a little more of the Misty moonlight color to the card.

I got creative with this sketch!

I’ve had these Spooky Halloween Dies for a while and hadn’t used them yet. They just fit this sketch.

The background is the Damask Designs 3D Embossing Folder. In purple, it gives a creepy look.

The sentiment is from Sign Design. I stamped the top half to get just these words. It was easy to do.

Here is this week’s new color challenge to spark your creativity –

Great colors for a sweet Halloween card –

I started by die cutting the candy pieces using the new Gingerbread Man Dies. They’re not just for Christmas.

This sentiment from the Sign Design Stamp set could not be more spot on for this card of candy!

To elevate this card, I used the Branching Out Dies instead just making simple cuts. These are my favorite dies.

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Stamping Friends challenge!

Here is this week’s new layout challenge to spark your creativity –

I am loving this new Halloween from Stampin’ Up, Sweet & Spooky Kit. It is actually a treat holder kit. I took the tret holders and changed them up into cards!

Here is one of them –

I simply cut the box apart using the sections to create this ‘Eeek’ of a spooky card.

I usually make mini slim cards, but this is a taller, regular slimline card at 3 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ in Pumpkin Pie.

The sparkly stars are also from the kit. Yes, this card was just that easy!

Again, I went with a cutesy Halloween card –

…..with cats of course! I just love these cats and altering them in more realistic cat positions! Typically, loafing! Or swinging the tail because they are annoyed. Or, the ‘I’m about to pounce’ look, lol,

I am also in love with this Halloween Spells Designer Series Paper! I just had to use it again, at least another pattern – these books!

I really like fun Halloween cards. Black cats and a great pattern paper are it for me!

Our theme this week is Halloween time.

I went with a cutesy Halloween card –

Really, what makes it cutesy is the Pretty in Pink card base! And, maybe the ‘loafing’ cats! Not very scary, are they? Lol!

The contrast is in the Halloween Spells Designer Series Paper! It has some great colors. I this was a cute, playful take on this sketch today!

Halloween Punch

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Stamping Friends challenge!

Here is this week’s new color challenge to spark your creativity –

I took these colors in a Halloween direction –

Even though we do not really have any pumpkin dies this year, I created pumpkins out of punches!

I used the Submarine Life and Bee Builder Punches for all these pumpkins cutting three shapes for each. I trimmed off everything creating ovals, except one per grouping to create a stem.

I used a pattern paper layer of the new Halloween Spells Designer Series Paper as a backdrop for my pumpkin grouping.

The sentiment is from the Potions & Spells stamp die cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies.

Glitzy Halloween with Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us for our weekly Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features cards that sparkle or shine!

I am true to myself with a ‘simple glitzy’ take this week –

Nonetheless, soo cute though! I started with these little Pick of The Patch pumpkins, adding a foil stem. I placed them on dies shapes from the Nested Essentials Dies.

For a little added texture, I embossed the panel using the polka dot pattern from the Basic 3D Embossing Folders. They are a bit too high for me, so I ran it back through the machine between the Specialty Plate and the folder to flattened the dots – perfect!

I tied the foil back in for my ‘simple glitzy’ look for the pumpkin tendrils in Melon Mambo.

I love the way it turned out! Do you?

Spooky Forest with Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us for our weekly Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week is Halloween tree themed cards.

I went out on a limb for this –

I created a spooky scene combining the Bag of Bones Dies with the Aspen Tree Dies (remember these?). I just kept adding creepy stuff until I felt it was done! The moon behind the trees and the bones even glows in the dark!!!

This is a great color combination : Blackberry Bliss, Wild Wheat, Pebbled Path, and the Glow in The Dark paper! Of course th other colors add to the depth.

For added detail, I embossed the inner tombstone with the Timeworn Type as it really resembles an old headstone that the letters have since worn down.

I have to chuckle. Personally, I have two cats. I see one of them left their presence on my card and I just now noticed it. Convenient placement girls, convenient placement. I decided to just leave it. Let me know if you find it. Lol!

Crafty Colla’boo’rations Halloween Blog Hop

Hello stampin’ friends!

I am creating some last minute Halloween cards today! This one is for Crafty Collaborations –

It is just bootiful –

I simply combined some great products. I started with cutting the frame from the Gone Fishing Dies – I love to use this for anything but a tackle box, lol! I cut some ghosts and the word boo from the Glow in The Dark Specialty Paper and got to assembling!

Now, as you know, I said I used the Glow in the Dark Specialty Paper, here it is in action –

SOOOO COOOL!!!!

I bought this paper a while back. I tossed it on to my craft desk. Everytime I turned the light off at night, this paper was glowing! Calling me to use it! Well, today was the day and it did not disappoint!

Happy O C T O B E R 1st!

Let’s kick this month off with a blog hop with We Create!

And our theme this month is anything related to Halloween!

This is perfect for this great Halloween card! I featured this last week at my September Card Buffet.

I started with the Them Bones Designer Series Paper. Using several of the patterns.

I stamped the Mr. Bones and decided to give him the beret, neck scarf, and mustache – nice as they are all on one stamp!

I used the Stylish Shapes to die cur Mr . Bones and the sentiment. Easy and fun!

You’re So Sweet

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Here is our newest two week challenge to inspire you –

Optional Theme : Plants

No plants. Sorry. But this is just the bomb wouldn’t you say! I had to use this Scary Cute stamp set again!

I used the Stamparatus to stamp the three images, even, and nice and dark.

I also used the Stamparatus to stamp the word ‘sweet’ from the Sweetest Cherries stamp set.

This was the neat part. Using the Stamparatus, I masked off ‘sweet’ from the sentiment before stamping it. I used plain gift wrap tape to cover the word ‘sweet’, inked up the other words, removed the tape and stamped the words over the ‘sweet’. I did this twice to make it nice and dark.

This is a wonderful card to demonstrate some of the neat things you can do with a Stamparatus.

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Here is our latest two week challenge –

I used the sweetest Designer Series Paper for this card called Cute Halloween –

Look how I used it –

Sooo sweet! And, this layout is great for scraps too!

This equally adorable stamp set for the sentiment is the Cutest Halloween stamp set –

I strategically punched it using the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch –

Here is a close up of my trim work –

The focal image is from the Designer Series Paper too! I used the Layering Circles Dies for both the circle and the scallop circle behind it!

Such a sweet card! I can not wait to mail it out!

Halloween Snow Globe

I thought you might like to see another way to use the Still Scenes bundle other than Christmas –

This is done in a Halloween Theme! I used the Monster Bash Designer Series Paper for the strip and the ‘globe’! I love this house for a globe!

I die cut one of the larger houses from the paper and placed it flat. The snow globe base was stamped and die cut in Pumpkin Pie.

Stamping on Designer Series Paper can be a bit tricky as the paper wants to absorb the ink. I stamped the sentiment here in StazOn ink. It is a pigment ink that is darker and stays more true to color. The first one I stamped was in Black Memento and was very light, hard to see.

It’s all tied off with a little black retired twine. I’m lovin’ this! What are your thoughts?

NACHO, The Tag Says it All

I’m running late with my post today. I felt my paying job needed to see me this week!

I saw this sketch over at Nacho Average Challenges –

And I loved it! Sadly, I have had to miss their past few sketches……

We have just a couple more weeks that we can use all these wonderful Halloween items we’ve got. So, I came up with this –

Isn’t this just the cutest?

I created a card with this nifty, versatile, tag! Their sketch was perfect for this!

I punched a hole at the top and added the dual Baker’s Twin making a bow.

Look close at the card, see the shiny little line of pumpkins? I took the Fine Tip Glue Pen and added glue drops to each pumpkin. At first it’s really cloudy. But, it dries clear and adds dimension!

I love this little card and can’t wait to send it out!
