Welcome stampers!
Thank you for joining us for our weekly Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!
Our theme this week is Halloween tree themed cards.
I went out on a limb for this –
I created a spooky scene combining the Bag of Bones Dies with the Aspen Tree Dies (remember these?). I just kept adding creepy stuff until I felt it was done! The moon behind the trees and the bones even glows in the dark!!!
This is a great color combination : Blackberry Bliss, Wild Wheat, Pebbled Path, and the Glow in The Dark paper! Of course th other colors add to the depth.
For added detail, I embossed the inner tombstone with the Timeworn Type as it really resembles an old headstone that the letters have since worn down.
I have to chuckle. Personally, I have two cats. I see one of them left their presence on my card and I just now noticed it. Convenient placement girls, convenient placement. I decided to just leave it. Let me know if you find it. Lol!
Go forward to check out Debbie Henderson, and back to Cindy Elam. I know they’ll have some great ideas for us!
We will see you next week with more great inspirations in card making!

Looks like “someone” left a little bit of fur behind on their new friend sitting on the fence!!! Happy Haunting!
Right Karen – can not do anything without car hair joining in! Thanks for stopping by!
Nice hair by the fence/cat!! A cat owner always wears fur!!
Lol, right!?!?! Kitty glitter! Thanks Alissa!
Ah, yes! I have two cats who rule my craft room. Despite my daily brushing, my black and white fluffy cat, Posey, leaves her hair on everything. At first, I thought it was her hair on my computer screen on your paper cat (going horizontally a little above the tail), as Posey had just walked across my computer. But I think it is probably one of your cats who gifted a hair to make the paper cat more realistic! Ha!
I Iove your spooky forest card, very cute!
I think SU! should make a stamp to use on the back flap of the envelope: “Warning, the contents may not be appropriate for those with cat allergies!”
Yep – the rule everything! Lol! Thank you Margaret for stopping by!
I love, love the Spooky Forest card.
I ‘m a cat owner –
Cowboy & Gracie.
Yes, the cat totally makes this card! Lol! Thank you Wanza for stopping by!
