I hope you are able to craft a cool summer!

Perhaps you can do that with challenge! Here is our newest two challenge from Try Stampin’ on Tuesday –

I went both, sort of –

I embossed the two panels using the Checks & Dots Embossing Folders. They are a set –

I placed those on a Very Vanilla card base and used Very Vanilla rectangle for the two flowers from the Dandy Wishes Dies. I love these!

Lots of texture with minimal color –

The sentiment is from the Forever Fern, just a simple HELLO.

I love the added touch of these retiring Resin Hearts* that are on sale!

I love this simple, earthy card. I can not wait to mail it out!

Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features all green cards!

I made two using the same size pieces!

Aren’t these soo pretty?!?!

I started with the soon-to-retire Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper* –

I added the sentiment from the coordinating Forever Fern stamp set, yay, it will be in the new catalog!

On my initial card, I stamped my sentiment crooked, hence the two cards!

I had to cover up my blunder!

This was the initial look I was going for!

I liked both soo much, I just kept them! The strip is 4 1/4″ x 1″, with the larger piece being 4 1/4″ x 3 1/2″.

I added this pretty Old Olive / Pretty Peacock Reversible Ribbon to the card to add some flair!

Simply a nice pair of cards!

Go forward to check out Debbie Henderson, and back to Cindy Elam. I know they’ll have some great green projects to inspire us!

Joy of Sets Tic Tac Toe – July Challenge

Welcome to our monthly Joy of Sets Tic Tac Toe Challenge blog!

Here is our latest monthly challenge grid –

And here is my take on the sketch using Kraft Card, Jewel, Lace –

I used Crumb Cake for the kraft. For the jewel, I stretched this idea with jewel-tone card stocks and rhinestones too. For the lace, I used the new Square Vellum Doilies.
