Our theme this week features cards that are green!

Let’s get right to it –

And, another look –

This is one of those, not sure what you call it, cards! Perhaps a Pop Up Z Fold, Pop Up Diamond Z Fold, Fold Back Pop Out Card – idk, how about Clever Pop Out Cards, lol? If you know the name, please let me know! Lots of versions out there!

Here is the inside and why it has a unique name –

The middle diamond pops out!

I used the Pierced Blooms Dies to create my shamrocks and the trimmed stems!

The lovely 2 part sentiment is from the Mini Catalog, Happy & Heartfelt. I love the casual, matter of fact sentiments.

Such a nifty card fold!

After numerous stares and tries, I dislike watching others how-to videos, I figured this fold out and made a pattern so I could recreate it in the future!

What do you think? Pretty nifty, isn’t it?

Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop – May Flowers

Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features any kind of flower.

I played around with the simple Band Together flower image creating several different looks from the one colored image. Which do you like best?

Here is the initial card I created –

Its basically simple stamping which I love! And I almost left it as is.

I decided to cut if off (it was already a card) and play around with it.

This one is good also. I trimmed the sides and added it to a Daffodil Delight base.

This one, I added some Designer Series Paper. Very nice and ‘dressed up a bit’.

Lastly –

This (retired) cotton Daffodil Ribbon was calling to join the party. Now, this makes it very elegant!

So, which is your favorite???

Btw, I thought about trying the backside colored image. It is pretty as well –

Kre8tors Blog Hop 2020 Sale-a-Bration & Occasions Mini

Welcome to our first hop of the year!

Since this is early January, our theme is the new Stampin’ Up! Mini and Sale-a-Bration catalogs.

Yes, it is this adorable Little Ladybug stamp set! How cute is this???

I stamped all 4 ladybugs and colored them with Blends.

I die cut them with a coordination die set, Ladybugs Dies, that will be available on February 4th. (As a demonstrator, we can pre-oreder these to get familiar with them.)

I played around with the layout and really liked this whimsical, fun layout. All the sentiments would have been great on this card, but, I went with the ‘Hey, Lady!’. What a wonderful card to send to anyone!?!?

Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop – Easter Favors

Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features an Easter favor.

This is awesome! After today, you’ll be set for your treats!

I went with an Easter basket –

Well, I created several of these because they were so quick to make!

They hold lots of goodies too!

Directions –

Designer Series Paper 3 x 6
score at 2 and 4
cut strips 3/4 x 6 (you’ll have 4)

cut 2 strips coordinating card stock, 3/4 x 7
on one, add 2 strips of Tear & Tape down the whole length
use bone folder to soften the strip and make it curvy
the other 3/4 x 7 strip, set aside
fold along score lines making a square U shape
remove a portion of the Tear & Tape cover, add 1 of the DSP strips perpendicular to the solid strip

add the second strip leaving about a 1/16 space between strips

add the third strip

add fourth strip
remove the rest of the Tear & Tape cover
going back to the first strip, add it next to the 4th strip, making a square U shape

take the second strip add it next the fifth strip

you are creating a woven look as you work around
take third strip add it next to the sixth strip

take the fourth strip and add it next to the seventh strip, making it the last strip added

take the over hang of the solid card stock and add it next to the first strip

the second 3/4 x 7 strip cut, add to pieces of Tear & Tape to just the edge, this will be the handles for the basket
use bone folder to soften the strip and make it curvy

adhere one side where seam is, add other side directly across

decorate and fill with candy!
