Christmas is not too far away! Busy getting ready for it?

It’s time to take a break and join Create with Connie and Mary for our blog hop!

These are some of favorite colors!

This has been something I’ve been wanting to try –

Creating a coffee mug / cup using the Coffee Cup Framelits and the Large Letters Framelits. It was just the perfect focal point for this tag! It will go great on a package of hot chocolate!

Go forward to see the talented Debbie Henderson and her creations, and going back, you’ll see the simply wonderful, Mary Brown. I know you’ll be inspired by both of them!

I’ve been searching for creative inspiration today and ran across two challenges that got me to creating!

The first was from Paper Players, PP372 –

The other was a color challenge from Just Add Ink #387 –

Two awesome starting points to create this –

Simply beautiful, correct?

I used a variety of thinlits to create this. The bright, shiny gold comes from the Watercolor Christmas Project kit (it’s the envelope liners). I love how noticeable it is.

Watt? Merry and Bright

I’m hoping its a happy Thursday to you wherever you are reading this from. Here, in Texas, in the land of pears, it’s a bit of mayhem as people prepare for the approaching storm, Harvey. Living on the gulf coast during these times is never easy and the weather is rarely predicted correctly.

So, let’s get our minds onto something fun – creating! We have a new challenge at Create with Connie and Mary –

Super terrific layout!!! I used it this weekend at my August Card Buffet and designed this –

Yes, others saw it before you did. And, they liked loved it!

It’s very striking and rather cute! The lightbulb?? Really? Adorable! The Sunburst Punch behind it looks like its glowing in a cutesy way.

And, if you saw Wednesdays post, you saw that I used the exact same designer series papers creating a different card.

Since the card was rather popular this weekend with supply purchases, I figured I’d show another idea or two using the same elements, but, in a different way. Kind of nice, right?
