Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features rain, rainbows, or umbrellas.

I’ve got just the idea –

It’s a (reverse) rainbow birthday cake!

I created this ‘rainbow’ from soon to retire 2018-2020 In Colors. And, the Wish For It All stamp set.

I used the Stamparatus to stamp each cake in a different color ink. I trimmed them down to an inch each. I adhered them raised, next to one another (accidentally, in reverse no doubt)!!

They look dramatic raised. The rhinestones add a little sparkle. The sentiment is also from the same stamp set. I think this will definitely brighten someones day!

Hello, May! Boy, this year is flying by…..

The first of the month is always a blog hop for –

The theme this month is 2018 -2020 In Colors.

Wow, what great colors : Lovely Lipstick, Grapefruit Grove, Pineapple Punch, Call Me Clover and Blueberry Bushel.

I paired them with a new stamp set I received at OnStage, Genuine Gems.

These were so fun to create!

I started with the same size panels of each of the In Colors. I mounted the stamp to the Stamparatus and stamped each one in Black Memento. I then made strips from each line in the sentiment.

I put them together, mounting them in different ways.

This was my first and favorite –

Each strip is popped up using Dimensionals.

The was another favorite of the five cards I made –

The thin black border is a nice addition.

This large sentiment is wonderful to show off these bold, beautiful colors! Wouldn’t you agree?
