Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!
Our theme this week features patriotic cards!
Perfect way to celebrate in the USA, more importantly in Texas, with the current health crisis and advised self quarantining.
I decided to make a nifty background using this lined stamp from the Pattern Play stamp set along with the Stamparatus –
I love this background!!! I used Misty Moonlight first and stamped the three sets of stripes, skipping a wrung on the Stamparatus as I moved it down. I removed the panel, flipped it, then repeated the stripes the same way in Poppy Parade. So. Pretty.
I didn’t want to cover it up too much, so I added a couple of stars and a swirl from the Stitched Stars Dies.
The Cue the Confetti sentiment is from the same Pattern Play stamp set stamped in Misty Moonlight on Seaside Spray.
Quite festive wouldn’t you say?
Keep the celebration going by going forward to check out Debbie Henderson, and back to Cindy Elam. I know they’ll have some great projects to inspire us!
