I’ve been searching for creative inspiration today and ran across two challenges that got me to creating!
The first was from Paper Players, PP372 –
The other was a color challenge from Just Add Ink #387 –
Two awesome starting points to create this –
Simply beautiful, correct?
I used a variety of thinlits to create this. The bright, shiny gold comes from the Watercolor Christmas Project kit (it’s the envelope liners). I love how noticeable it is.
Thanks for stopping by today!
- Stamp Set – Oh, What Fun
- Framelits – Card Front Builder, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Mini Treat Bag (bow)
- Card Stock – Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White

This is beautiful Libby! I love the elegance your same colour frame adds to your design and how your lovely cherry base makes all the other colours really pop. Thanks for sharing with us at Just Add Ink this week.

This is very elegant Libby! I love the clean lines, the pop of pattern and how you accented the sentiment with trees and very cute gold bow! Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week.

I really like this card! The colours are my Christmas favourites to start off with and that sentiment is also a favourite of mine. I love how you’ve interpreted the sketch with those adorable trees, the houndstooth DSP, the gold strip and bow. I particularly like the extra layer with the peek of gold you’ve added in. Thank you so much for joining us at The Paper Players this week.

What a lovely traditional Christmas card Libby – this would be a great one for mass production. Thanks for playing along with my sketch challenge over at The Paper Players this week!
