This week we have a layout challenge –
I was inspired to create a card that would be perfect for a recital or performance – it’s about that time of the year, again!
Don’t you just love these sweet colors together?
I made a template for this card first to get all my sizes right and the angle looking correct. Then started plugging in the elements in to create the finished card.
The punched cat was the first thing and the inspiration for the rest of the card! That’s right, this cutie is in the paper ready to use! I added card stock colors from the colors on the cat.
After adding the card stock pieces, I noticed that there needed to be some *pop* to the card. I embossed the background and added the curtains from the coordinating dies!
The flower centers were colored using a dark Stampin’ Blends. By doing that, I tied in the card base too!
