Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features an ombre colored card.

I am in love with the Whale Of A Time Designer Series Paper. I just had to use it again today –

libbystamps, Stampin' Up!, Whale Done, Stitched Nested Labels Dies, Whale of a Time DSP, Artistry Blooms Sequins, CCMC

A couple of the patterns are a lovely ombre waved ocean. I paired this pattern with a ‘bridge fold’.

This is soo sweet and best of all, folds flat to mail!

I fussy cut the whale (although there is a coordinating punch for it), and die cut the sentiment.

The measurements for this card a quite easy! Base is 4 1/4″ x 8. Scored at 1 1/4″, 2 1/2″, 5 1/2″ and 6 3/4″.

The two outer Designer Series Paper pieces are 1″ x 4″. The inner piece is 3 3/4″ x 4″. The wave strip is about an inch by 5 1/2″. I had cut the scallops.

Optional Theme : Make a Splash

Perfect for the new Whale of a Time suite of products –

I started with the Pool Party base, adding a piece of the Whale of a Time Designer Series Paper, along with another coordinating piece with seahorses.

I added the ‘greenery’ at the bottom of the card to fill in the space. It was just the right touch!

I added the sentiment from the coordinating stamp set. I did fussy cut the whale, although there is a matching punch. It was just faster for this card.
