As some are prepping for Thanksgiving, others are prepping for a weekend of creativity!

I had a home show this past weekend. The ladies wanted to create Christmas cards…..so, this one of the ones we created –

I just absolutely love this style of card! It quick and fun! And, it’s really a show stopper. The ladies really liked it! A real no fail design!

I started with a square card. All the layers are square too! On the top layer, I was able to punch in the direct center with ease. This style of card is quick and simple to re-create. You should try it!

Happy Tuesday my friends! I’ve got a fun card designed for Try Stampin on Tuesday to share with you.

This is our Design Team sketch to inspire you –

Challenge #349. Optional Theme : Silver Bells or Easel Card

Hmmm. I had to give this some thought….I do not have any bell stamps or framelits or punches…..but, I can do an easel card!

Here is the outside of the card. It’s a Christmas Card kit from the 2017 Holiday Mini, Watercolor Christmas Project Kit –

The kit has some beautiful cards to finish.

As you open my card, you’ll notice just what I mean –

And, finally, the big easel reveal –

Isn’t this pretty?? I love how it turned out!

I used two of the cards from the kit. The card measures 4 1/2 x 4 1/2, square, when closed. What I cut off the card base, I used to adhere to the inside of the card below the gold strip (part of an envelope liner).

Simple. Cute. Quick.

Quick post to start you week off creatively!

Instead of designing for one of my teams I’m on – I’m playing with someone else’s challenge!

Today, it’s for a long time love of mine, Freshly Made Sketches.

They always have clean, simple designs that are very easy to create with. I was drawn to this one.

I went with colors of red and green. Perhaps Christmas colors, but the sentiment could evoke really anything! Of course, adding the wreath and the ribbon makes this totally Christmas!

The up close of this mini wreath because it sooo sweet! A great addition to the card, don’t you think?
