Here is this week’s new layout challenge to spark your creativity –
It sure sparked mine!
Every year I try to create a Bluebonnet flower using a current stamp set from Stampin Up. This year, I used the Painted Lavender Bundle to create the flowers. It is perfect!
The state flower of Texas is a Bluebonnet. During March to April, you can see these flowers all over the place in open fields, in people’s yards, side of the highway – you name it, they are there!
This week is the Stampin Up OnStage Convention. This year it is being held in Houston, Texas! I made this card, and a few more, to share with some special demonstrators that I will meet up with this week!
I love the bold flowers against the crisp, white background. Keeping the card all white really helped the flowers to be the focal point!
Any sentiment would work here. I chose ‘WELCOME’ to welcome stampin’ friends to Texas!
