Monday. Again. I just saw you last week!

I have a funny card today too. I received a nice package last week courtesy of Stampin’ Up. So many wonderful goodies I didn’t know where to begin.

I ran across this sketch challenge at Can You Case It. It’s a pretty basic layout that is simple to follow. The results should be fantastic to see using this –

I went through my box of goodies and found what to work with.

After a few attempts and color changes, this is what I created and fell in love with –

Very fun. Very simple. Very masculine! Hard to create those. But this card nailed it!

My punched out sentiment was made using the Scalloped Circle punch twice. Punch your shape out. Use a strip of Post It Notes to hold your shape to punch it again. This time, move it slightly around to get the little pointed edges. Just a little fun addition to the card. Plus, it looks like teeth.

What do you think? Masculine?

Have you see the spoilers of the new 2015-2016 In Colors?

I’ve been itching to play with my mine. I saw this sketch from Match the Sketch Challenge and I had an idea.

Here is their idea –

Quite simple and fun. And, perfect to compare the new In Colors to existing ones.

To do this, I turned the sketch on its side. I used a new Hostess stamp set, Happy Birthday, Everyone to test out the ink pads.
