Lol, Skullie! Isn’t this just the funniest thing? Take a look at my card below.
I know. Why on earth did I create such a silly card? Well, of course, another card challenge. This one is Stamping Peaches Paper Challenge. It is a very clean, easy sketch. I love it. And, I use this layout quite a bit, without being challenged!
I did have lots of fun creating this. I knew I wanted Halloween, but not the traditional orange/black/purple colors. So, why not pinks? And, lots of them? I started by stamping the three skulls from Halloween Hellos. Punched them out as well as the corresponding card stock color.
This is the tricky part and one that you may not really even have noticed, I punched larger circles in the front panel. The black is actually layered behind the front panel, in between the Whisper White and Pink Pirouette. Why? Why not.
I added the little detail of the ‘x x x x x x’ because the sketch called for something there. And, it reminded me of ‘skull and cross bones’ I guess.
The sentiment in punched with the Ticket Punch two times to make it more narrow. Nice. Love this idea.
