Happy Birthday shawty, I mean Sandra!
If you’ve ever listened to rap music, then this will make sense. I saw this “Go Shawty’ It’s Sherbert Day”. I rolled laughing because I’m very short and it was just recently my birthday. My coworker has a birthday today and she is about as tall as me, well, I’m think I’m a skosh taller! I thought this was SO appropriate for her! She loved it!
And, she loved this card/gift ensemble I made for her too. She loves cookies. I went with this cool Tag a Bag Gift Boxes that Stampin’ Up has now and just decorated it to match her card. I filled it with yummy cookies too.
The card inspiration came from Seize the Sketch today. This is the second sketch for them. Very clean, simple sketch. However, I really went to town on my take. It’s very girly. I used retired DSP from Sale-a-Bration because I wasn’t sure just what all I was making. I wanted to have enough paper for my matching creation. And, I did. Right down to the envelope liner!
I did use some current items such as ribbon and the punches. Love using the Hexagon Punch to make a ‘flag’ out of a strip. My little fold over piece is the Artisan Label Punch. It made for a nice added touch.
Well, Sandra, shawty (shorty), enjoy sherbert day (your birthday)!
Happy. Stampin’
