Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!
Our theme this week features a Valentine card.
I went with a a few. It is always fun to receive more than one card around Valentines Day.
Lots of love here!
I used the Sweet Little Valentines Cards & More. Here is the kit as it comes. It makes 10 little cards sized 4 1/4″ x 3 1/4″.
Here is a suggestion of how to complete the cards –
I wanted to utilize the great components in the kit.
This one is soo sweet and probably my favorite –
I used one of the actual card bases for the focal point on this card. I added a punched heart from another part of one of the card bases. The scallop edging is from one of the cards to be used on the front.
I added the Gold Foil LOVE die cut from the Always Dies.
I love the tone on tone colors here. The heart in the lower right is Melon Mambo. I chose that as a card base to bring that out. Hard to see in the photo.
This card is pretty much the pieces from the kit –
Both of these are on a Pool Party base.
This one I added another die cut LOVE, this time in Pool Party.
Most of the cards have a strip of gold striped paper which was one of the envelopes sliced up. I also included a small Gold Foil punched heart from the Dog Builder Punch.
So, so cute! I’ll enjoy leaving these out for the hubs next month. Do you do special little things like this?
Go forward to check out Debbie Henderson, and back to Cindy Elam. I know they’ll have some great projects to inspire us!
