This is a really fun card I made for a Team Meeting swap the other day. Just see for yourself –
I got the inspiration from Dawn Olchefske,, but changed the dimensions and the design a bit.
It was very simple to create. And, yet another great use of the ever so versatile, Envelope Punch Board, EPB. Who would have thought – a card that looks like a jar? Oh, Can you imagine the possibilities?
I started with a basic card base, 4 1/4 x 11, with a score in the center. Fold in half to get 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.
Add a 1 1/4 piece of DSP at the top, along the fold.
Using the EPB, punch at 1 1/4 on each side. This forms the jar lid. Additionally, I rounded the bottom corner, not with the corner rounder, but by using the punch at the top of the EPB. I just slid it over to the edge. Practice on your scraps first.
I then just stamped and embellished the card. Looking forward to creating a few more of these easy cards. They are fun!
