Make It Monday on Tuesday

Hello my stampin’ friends!

I have the pleasure of every other Monday stampin’ with some wonderful ladies in a group called, Make It Mondays. I create a couple of samples and make the packets and they make as many cards as they need or feel like.

These were the cards for this past Monday –

I went with the beautiful Painted Wishes Kit!

The ladies loved this kit as it was beautiful and soo easy! It looked as though they spent hours on it!

I make it easy by adding Stampin’ Dimensionals to many of the pieces for easy adherence to the cards. Glue sticks also work well!

One of the ladies was even addressing her cards as we went along! She had her birthday list out and was ready to create with us!

This is a highlight to my week to come and craft with these wonderful women.

This sweetness is the Sunny Days Designer Series Paper! It is soo fun! I love all the wonderful patterns!

I added the sentiment from a new stamp called Ice Cream Swirl as you can just taste the sweetness of these strawberries! It works really nice with the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch too!

The Black & White Gingham Ribbon adds a nice contrast to the colors!

Brayering – Technique Tuesday

Hello Stampers!

Thank you for joining us today. Every month we feature a different technique. This month we are featuring Brayering!

Stampin’ Up has came out with a new Brayer that is silicone. And, of course, some new products top use with it!

The Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder is really, really cool in that not only does it emboss, but it also cuts – at the same time!

Just look what I created –

Very pretty! And, wonderful for a masculine card too!

I used one of the ten words that I inked, embossed, and cut all at once! I used the new Brayer to apply ink to the raised part of the folder before placing my card stock on the folder and running it through the die cut machine.

Super easy and quick! And, I have nine more cards I can make too!

Bringing in The New Year with Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop

I created sort of a retro card using the Warmest Heart Dies, they are super affordable right now, as my accent.

This wonderful Happy New Year sentient is from the Year To Celebrate stamp set. It too is retiring and is also super affordable!

Hard to believe another year has flown by. So much has happened this past year.

Non Traditionals Christmas Colors with Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop

Warm Christmas Wishes

This features the Warmest Heart Dies, retiring, on sale, along with the Beary Cute stamp set, also retiring, for the sentiment.

The fun colors were inspired by the Merry Bold & Bright Designer Series Paper. I combined Shaded Spruce, Poppy Parade, and Lemon Lime Twist. So fun together!

Red & Green Christmas with Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop

Our theme this week is features red and green Christmas card.

I created a gift card holder to be featured at my Giftables Class on Sunday –

This uses several products to make this quick and easy. I started with the Classic Gift Card Envelopes from the mini catalog. FYI, they are retiring and are on sale!

I added a simple little santa suit using the Modern Oval Punch in Poppy Parade. The buckle on the belt uses the Best Label Punch.

I decided to open the envelope so the flap gives a little more room to stamp. I added To From from the Sending Cheer Stamp set. The Santa Was Here comes from the Merry Bold & Bright stamp set.

I used a hole punch to punch a hole in the top of the flap to hang this on the tree. The Simply Elegant trim is great for making tags!

These are some awesome little envelopes to have in your stash! Grab them before they are gone for good!

Sending Good Tidings

Here is this week’s new color challenge to spark your creativity –

Although it’s in the 60’s here (greater Houston), I decided to go with a wintery card –

This Joy To You, was one of the first stamps in the Mini I just had to have when it came out! And, I hadn’t used it until now!

I created this quick and cute card by adding the Beary Christmas Designer Series Paper!

After stamping and placing the two panels next to each other, I felt the card needed a but more. Embossed background and some Snowflakes just made the card!

Great layout for some pretty trees –

These trees are from the Merriest Trees Bundle using the Online Exclusive, Tartan Foil Designer Series Paper.

It is very nice how the sentiment can be stamped cut from one of the trees!

The shininess of this paper is soo pretty. I used both sides on this card. One for the tree, one for the strip.

The Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder adds to the winter feels!

This will be one of the cards featured at my 10th Annual Christmas Card Class this weekend!

Favorite Christmas Bundle with Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop

Our theme this week features our favorite Christmas bundle.

When I first got this catalog, this Sending Cheer Bundle was what I was drawn to –

These are actually tags, but I removed the loops to use them like this. Although these as tags would be stinkin’ cute!

As you can see, they stamp very nice and solid too! No special tools here! Just a little cushion as these are photopolymer stamps.

I added the button heart detailing from the dies and thought, I’d like these to be a boy and a girl. The little bows from the Playing in The Rain Dies are perfect for this!

Another favorite of mine for this card are the colors – red and green just say Christmas to me! I added a strip from the A Walk in The Forest Designer Series Paper.

Big bonus about this stamp and die I featured here? It is on sale! Bummer it is on the Last Chance list and is retiring though.

Crafty Collaborations November 2023 Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop

Hello Stampers!

Welcome to our Paper Pumpkin Blog Hop with lots of great alternative ideas using the November 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Warm Wishes.

This kit coordinates with lasts month kit and it is gorgeous to say the least! Here is a picture of the full kit –

Since these are generously sized at about 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″. I created a stand alone gift card holder –

Opened, you see how the gift card fits into the card –

I added some Fine-Tip Glue along the side roof edges and a magnetic closure and that was it!

Tip for using these tiny tiny strong magnets – I get two magnets together and mark the side to be glued with a permanent marker. Seperate the two. Glue each one. Let dry. Close card using the magnets!

These are just the cutest gift card holders and I will feature them at my Giftables Class in December. These are sure to be a hit!

Merry Christmas Polar Bear

Hello my stampin’ friends! Happy Thanksgiving!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary challenge!

Here is this week’s new color challenge to spark your creativity –

I decided to pull out some stamps and stamp most of my card –

This is just soo sweet!

I stamped the bears in Pebbled Path, punching one, hand cutting the other. I stamped the scarf and the sentiment too, both in Copper Clay.

If you look closely, the snowflakes were also stamped! The color was a bit bold, so the velum toned them down quite a bit!

It almost looks as though the walking bear is nudging or going in for a hug from the sitting bear! Just as cute as can be!

I pulled out some pattern papers, got to playing, and created this –

Not exactly colorful. Not exactly more than one leaf. Lol.

So pretty nonetheless! This combination of colors and patterns just works so well together!

These neutrals really pop if you ask me! The hint of the Crumb Cake behind the Designer Series Layer really pulls the colors together.

This card would be great for ‘Friendsgiving’! I went to lunch on Friday with one of my friends I’ve made through stamping. I was inspired to make a card after our lovely lunch. I guess I should send her this card, lol!

I created this little card for my daughter. She loves animals!

I stamped and colored this sweet little beaver before cutting him out.

The little guy worked well on some scraps of this One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper, also an Online Exclusive item. The sequins tied in the colors softly.
