Zig Zag Fold

Our theme this week features zig zag folds!

I created a really pretty card that coordinates with one I made a few weeks ago. Take a look –

….a little more –

Pretty, pretty, pretty!!!!

I featured the Simply Zinnia Bundle, and the Deckled Circles Dies for this Zig Zag Fold.

I love how they nest on one another.

I started with a 1/4″ sheet of Basic Beige and layered on a piece of Basic White. The ‘fun fold’ part of this card is a diagonal strip of 12″ x 12″. I adhered the circles to these.

Just soo pretty!

Our theme this week features cards with an interesting edge.

I really enjoyed creating this –

I used the Deckled Circles Dies to create the two rounded edges on this gatefold.

These flowers are from the Simply Zinnia Bundle. They look so pretty in Petal Pink.

The belly band is simply gorgeous! The Basic Beige ribbon is looped around with the two flowers on top. The sentiment is a partial from a longer one in the stamp set. Thinking of You is perfect for soo many occasions.

This pretty pattern paper is the Country Lace Designer Series Paper. It really set the tone for this soft, sweet, lovely card.

Let’s Get Sketchy with Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop

Our theme this week features a sketch and how we use it! I found this sketch and immediately thought of the Simply Zinnia Bundle.

I also love a good black and white card and haven’t created one of those in a while!

I combined two unlikely choices, the new Online Exclusive bundle, Simply Zinnia, with the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper from the main catalog. This is so fun and playful!

Initially, I wasn’t sure if I’d want to use a white or black flower so I made both. In the end, I liked them both!

Although I went with a thank you card, this would have been great as a birthday card too!
