Ok, I’m changing my title up a bit to be catchy-er!
Because, you know what I do every Wednesday. It’s the Watercooler Wednesday challenge –
You’re playing along with us, right? These challenges are great!
Here is this weeks challenge –
B O X E S ! ! !
I have been a little preoccupied lately. It’s starting to hit me. My youngest is graduation college in a few weeks. So, I’ve been channeling the thoughts through paper crafting. I’m also looking for the perfect things to decorate with to celebrate the occasion.
So, I made a box –
A cute little self-closing box for graduation!
These are SO cool! And, yes, I have to admit, I have never made one until now!
Its square on the bottom, but sort of faceted on the sides!
I made a paper tassel for graduation to ‘decorate’ the box. I’m simple that way.
And, see how it opens when you squeeze the sides? Its soo cool!
It pops back shut when you let go!
I’ll admit something else. It’s not my original design. After watching numerous YouTube videos from 20 minutes down to 11 minutes on how to make these……I got the idea! I can’t give one person credit. Sorry.
I will say this, after watching all the videos, I did modify mine and start with 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 (all others said, 6 x 8 1/2), because I wanted to create 2 per sheet.
Nice, huh?
Well, you should see what my other crafting buddies have created over at the Watercooler Wednesday blog! Some great stuff!
