It’s Thursday, Create with Connie and Mary day!
We have a super great sketch to work with –
When was the last time you did some series fussy cutting? Me, not long ago because I just had to create this little stinker, no pun intended –
Isn’t this just adorbs? Such a fun, fun card! Could be wedding or good luck or even birthday, and it’s gender neutral!
I recently got both these sets. I was so inspired! But, there are not dies to go with it, only scissors.
Some nifty tips I used as I created this. The two circles were punched first, then embossed. The line of sequins – I glued them to a thin strip of card stock to keep them in a perfect line. The letters were stamped them individually cut out and glued down. The fishes and plants were also cut out, yes individually.
Lots of work. Lovely outcome. You agree?
Head on over to Create with Connie and Mary to see what the other fabulously talented designers created with the sketch. And PLAY ALONG with us! We love to see how you interpret our sketches!
