Happy May 1st. Happy Tuesday. Happy Two post Tuesday!

Time for a share for –

In the past we have created a card, them stepped it up. We have changed things up a bit and gone with a theme. The theme this month is Feminine Cards.

Great idea since Mother’s Day is right around the corner!

Here is what I created –

……of course, an amazing card!

This was simple to create using our Blends markers to color the flowers. The background was created from one of the background stamps in the Petal Palette stamp set.

Blogging Friends Blog Hop – CASE a Blog Hop Member

Happy Easter my friends! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and see my creations!

I decided to CASE this post from Mary Blocher of Power Huff stamping. Take a quick peek, but come right back so you can follow the hop! She made a set of narrow cards using this Designer Series Paper, oval and circle framelits, and flowers.

These are my cards –

They are the Narrow Note Cards & Envelopes from the Occasions Mini. The set comes with Whisper White, but I made mine in these soon to be retiring In-Colors. These are cut 9 x 2 1/2, scored at 4 1/2.

Here is an up close of each card and a little about them –
This is Flirty Flamingo card stock. I used the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper on all the cards.

This is Peekaboo Peach. I used two different framelits on the set, Petals & More and Stitched Shapes. I have gotten so much use from these two – well worth the investment!

This is Sweet Sugarplum card stock. All the sentiments are from the hostess set in the Occasions mini, Yay You. Very encouraging words – I love them!

Favorite New Framelits – Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop

Hello my stampin’ friends! Thank you for joining me and the Create with Connie and Mary blog hop team today!

We have great projects today! Our theme this week is Favorite New Framelits.

Tough for me! I have two I really like –

Soooooo, I went with both!!!

First, the black stems are from the Petals & More Thinlits – SO many nice dies in this set! I cut two of these and flipped the one over the left heart.

Speaking of hearts, The gold hearts are the remains of last weeks card as I had it on my Card Buffet. (I keep these sorts of scraps!) It’s the Lots to Love Box Framelits.

All these elements, I placed on one of the Tutti-Frutti Cards & Envelopes available from Sale-a-Bration this year.

And, notice how the envelope is lined and the insides of the hearts match? Well, I used the inside of one of the envelopes for this. Additionally, the blue strip on the bottom of the card is the outside of the envelope!!

The red heart is a Sharpie colored Metallic Enamel Shape that is the perfect finishing touch for this card! Ties in the red sentiment.
