Welcome to the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday challenge!

We have a nice challenge to get you creatin’ today –

I was inspired to create a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 card by this sketch.

……and, I wanted to play with the Tea Room Specialty Paper! It’s a bargain as you get 24 sheets in the pack. They are thinner, perfect to create envelopes and use as envelope liners. Or on a card as I did!

I took one of the papers that had large flowers on it and cut one of the flowers out, yes, I cut it by hand! One of the coordinating papers became the background.

I chose some colors for accent and framelit cut a circle. It looked nice after I Petal Burst embossed it. The sentiment is from A Big Thank You.

Time to CASE another idea from the catalog for Create with Connie and Mary!

This is what we are going by this week. A fun sketch and great colors!

I pulled out a new In-Color, Lemon Lime Twist as my starting point to create this –

I combined it with the Flourish Thinlits. It made the perfect accents!

The sentiment is from Dragonfly Dreams. I felt I needed a longer sentiment to match the sketch.

As you can see, my supplies are all over the catalog! Something from this bundle or that suite. Put together, it all work well to create a cohesive look! You don’t always have to have everything!
