Ornate Thanks

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest CAS the catalog challenge –

I went with this suite of products and colors in my version of this copy –

I started by using the same Whisper White die cut from the Ornate Layers Dies.

I then took the colors in the sketch, Terracotta Tile, Bumblebee, Old Olive, Mint Macaron, and embossed them using the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. Then I cut them into strips placing them on the white die cut.

I stamped the sentiment and placed a piece of ribbon behind it before placing it on the card front.

It turned out just lovely!

Welcome to our monthly Joy of Sets Tic Tac Toe Challenge blog!

Here is our latest monthly challenge grid –

Lots of great options, huh?

I went with flowers, ribbon and texture –

Flowers are in this gorgeous Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Ribbon is from a Christmas suite, but matches the So Saffron sooo nicely.

Texture comes from two things. One the embossed Designer Series Paper. Two, the dies cut Whisper White later has a visual texture all round the card!

Simple lovely!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

I hope you are keeping busy if you are home these days!

How about a challenge for you –

Since we have a new product medley to create with, how about showing that off??

I created a tone on tone card with some wonderful items in this collection –

Pretty. Pretty.

I used Rococo Rose for my card base and the embossed layer. This Ornate Floral folder is a real favorite of mine!

I used a small piece of the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper for a little accent. I didn’t want to cover it up, hence the vellum Starburst Circle!

My sentiment YOU, was a partial stamp and I added the words below it. Very sweet!

The Old Olive decorative strip is from one of the border dies in the bundle. I used a smaller piece of it here.

Happy Wednesday!

I just received the Ornate Garden Suite of products that will be in the new catalog in June. However, for the month of April, you can get the products early!

I was inspired to play with some of these products. I combined old and new and a layout challenge from TGIF Challenges –

Here is how I combined them –

B E A U T I F L !!!!!!

This card was quite simple as well! I die cut the border of flowers along a strip of Basic Black. That panel was adhered to a Daffodil Card Base, adding the Designer Series Paper and then the sentiment. Done.
