Happy October 1st!

And, thanks for joining me for my second post today!

This time I’m hopping –

This is a fun month! We are all excited to get out, socially distance of course, and be with people!

Perhaps you will have a get together with friends and need to whip a card to let them know of the festivities?

Look at this fun one –

I just love this pattern of paper in the Magic in This Night Designer Series Paper.

I bordered it with the gorgeous Black Glitter paper.

The focal point is from the Nothing’s Better Than Bundle. So sweet, lol, drinks with friends!

I used a circle of the Black Glitter Paper and added rhinestones to the glasses! Adds a subtle detailing.

Lastly, the sentiment is from the Hallows Night Magic stamp set.

love. Love. LOVE this card!

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Here is our latest two-week challenge –

Oh my! Love this sketch! Perfect to keep my mind occupied today!

First, I figures out the size of my squares on my base using my template paper. Then, I went to work!

Look at this beauty –

It is a hodgepodge of a couple different stamps sets put together with a fall feel because I just love fall and the elements in the sketch!

Ironically, it just dawned on me that I used similar items to last weeks card! Guess I really do love these colors!!

I die cut the Love You More Than sentiment from the Love You More Than Die set. I also die cut the stamped coffee cups from the same set.

I stamped the pumpkin and leaves from the Harvest Hellos stamp set. The leaves were fussy cut and the pumpkin was punched using the Apple Builder punch.

All my fall loves were popped up on dimensionals!

This. Card. Makes. Me. Smile.

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Here is our latest two-week challenge –

Optional Theme : Beverages, either warm or cold.

It’s still pretty hot here in Texas, so I went with a nice, cold beverage –

Pretty cool, huh?

I started with choosing this Nothing’s Better Than Bundle. The lovely, refreshing drink in the set of course!

These patterns are bright and fun from the Playing With Patterns 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper. These are in Calypso Coral.

I stamped the glass, and contents, slice, and umbrella. All such fun details!

Lastly, I die cut a scallop strip from the Peony Dies and stamped the sentiment.

Just an adorable card!

Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features Back to School!

Not sure what its looking like in your area, but here its all over the map with when school starts and how, distance learning or in person classes….I feel for the teachers.

Here is something just for the teachers –

I wanted to use the Nothings Better Than bundle. I started with stamping these 4 images from the Nothings Better Than stamp set, and colored them with Blends. I die cut them using the Love You More Than dies.

I also taped off and stamped the words, BECAUSE, and IS HARD. I stamped the word teacher using the letters from the Make A Difference stamp set. The size was perfect!

All the images I trimmed and punched using the Classic Label Punch.

I thought the layout of the tags in the Peek a Hoot Dies set were pretty cool so those became the frame for my goodies.

Pretty easy card that sums it for my teacher friends would you’d say?!?!?!

Happy day!

How about a cards about snacks and beverages? I think why not, lol?!?!

I had this Nothing’s Better Than Bundle still out my desk. Perfect for the theme!

This time, how about cookies???

I mean, who doesn’t love cookies????? Lol!

I started by stampin the cookie outline first in Early Espresso, then the solid part of the cookie twice in Cinnamon Cider. Once full ink, then the second time lighter. I love the variation it created! They look soo real!

I die cut the sentiment and carefully adhered it next to the line of die cut cookies.

I played around with the layout and added a strip of Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper along the side. The colors match wonderfully!

I stamped ‘cookies’ and added some retired Heart Epoxy Gems randomly. Soo cute!

Our theme this week we are Playing with Patterns!

I have had the adorable Nothing’s Better Than bundle just waiting to be created with. Ok. here goes –

I stamped the fancy drink glasses in Calypso Coral in somewhat of a pattern. I stamped the contents in Bumblebee and Flirty Flamingo.

The garnishments were colored with Blends. I just kept adding until I liked the look.

The dies cut ‘cocktails’ and ‘because adulting’ sentiment says it all these days! It is also from the bundle.

The shape the sentiment is on is from the Tasteful Labels Dies. After I die cut it, I traced the die
