Hi! Happy Monday!
I just had a fabulous weekend that ended with an even greater Card Buffet. I have been feeling very cruddy with sinus issues and no voice. But, the ladies who came out to stamp made all the work all worth it.
I posted a picture on my Facebook page of all ten, yes 10, cards the attendees got to choose from. Some hard decisions.
This was one of the cards we made. It uses several Sale-a-Bration items and it is just as sweet as it can be. I had seen something very similar at an event held by Stampin’ Up after Leadership.
My base is our Note Card & Envelopes that we offer. These are really a must have in your stash of stampin’ supplies. And, as you can see we made an envelope liner too – from the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper. Another tip about these note cards, you can get 4 Envelope Liners out of one 12 x 12 sheet of DSP. Very, very nice. Especially for classes.
I started by punching the three Banners in the top layer. I embossed with the Decorative Dots, another must have. I tied a piece of the baker’s twine around the card, another freebie. This stuff is a bit thicker than the other Baker’s Twine Stampin’ Up sells. I love this stuff!
I used the Banner Blast Stamp Set to stamp a couple of flowers. Added some bling with Rhinestones. Stamped ‘hi’ and this card was done! (Note, the ‘hi’ was stamped, punched out and placed in the opening for a perfect fit.)
So simple. But, so striking. Let me know what you think.
Happy Stampin’
