Happy Thursday! Welcome to our weekly inspiration challenge from Create with Connie and Mary!

This week, a new layout challenge –

I have this lovely Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper that I just haven’t played with enough!

It makes for a simply delightful card!

I used the coordinating stamp set, Needle & Thread, for the sentiment.

The ‘butterflies’ are from the soon to retired, Sunshine Wishes Thinlits. Those have been a favorite of mine and well used.

I’d love to know what you think of this simply sweet card!

Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop – In Stitches

Hello weekend! And, hello Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features cards using any stitched framelits.

Well, this is an easy one! Who doesn’t love any of our stitched framelits???

I also took this literally –

I used a few different ‘stitched’ framelits on this card.

I started with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits creating two layers on a Blackberry Bliss base, Powder Pink and Berry Burst.

I added the stitched element from the Needlepoint Elements also on the Berry Burst layer. I did this twice, once toward the top, the other lower to extend the pattern.

(And, FYI, you can actually stitch that pattern it creates too!!!)

In the center where the two patterns overlapped, I added a piece of Designer Series Paper from the Suite, Needlepoint Nook.

It’s finished off with the sentiment from the coordinating stamp set, also stitched around. The Pretty Label Punch coordinates perfectly with the shape to punch it out!

Hello first Thursday of 2019! Great time to share a new Create with Connie and Mary Thursday challenges!

This is our layout challenge for the week –

I decided to play around with a new suite of products to create this –

Isn’t this a wonderful thank you card?

This card uses the Needlepoint Nook Suite. Here, I used the Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper and the Needlepoint Elements Framelits for the lovely design in the oval.

The ‘thanks’ comes from the Well Written framelits.

What a sweet, ‘thanks’ card!
