Plaid Fun

Welcome stampers!

We are a group of stampers who get together weekly in blog form to create with a theme each week. This is our weekly Create with Stamping Friends Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features plaid fun!

I took this weeks theme literally –

I used three different plaids we have : Pattern of Friendship Die (horizontal and vertical), Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder (embossed to look diagonal), and plaid pattern paper from the On The Go Designer Series Paper pack.

The simple, fun sentiment is from the newer Notes & Totes stamp set. I punched the diagonal paper to look like a straight plaid, then stamped it.

I had initially stamped the Cloud Cover card stock in a plaid pattern background, but soon realized it was retired. Sigh. Quick flip, and it still totally works!

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Stamping Friends challenge!

Here is this week’s new color challenge to spark your creativity –

We are combining two new In Colors with a classic. I combined ink, markers, and blends creating this –

This is a new bundle, Inspiring Imperfections. A very serene bundle. And, I just love these words!!!

I stamped the sentiment using the new Secret Sea next to each other. This ‘torn’ piece is from the set of dies.

The embossed background is a neat mix of different textures. The white lines behind the vase are from the set of dies to resemble veining. It just gives such a feel to this card.

Favorite New Designer Series Paper

We are a group of stampers who get together weekly in blog form to create with a theme each week. This is our weekly Create with Stamping Friends Saturday blog hop!

So glad to back with you’ll this week.

Our theme this week is our favorite new Designer Series Paper, or DSP.

Soo many great papers! I must say, I really like the 6 x 6 In Color Designer Series Paper. I enjoyed creating these cards to show the paper off –

I used a stack, cut, shuffle method that I came up with.

I started with each DSP being 3 3/4″ x 5″ Made the above cuts. Shuffle the pieces. Adhere to a piece that is 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″.

Secret Sea Base.

Strawberry Slush base.

Timid Tiger Base.

I used the Party Alphabet Dies in the In Colors too to ties everything together.

Happy Birthday Party Piggy

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Stamping Friends challenge!

Here is this week’s new color challenge to spark our creativity –

Look at this cute lil’ piggie –

Adorable, right?! Anyone would love this birthday card I think!

This is the new Party Piggy Bundle, stamp set and dies.

I stamped the piggy, colored with Blends, then die cut it.

After I created the layout, I stamped each section, adding the festive details.

The stamp is curved because it is photopolymer and I bent before stamping it. It is great that you can do this with photopolymer stamps! Adds to the flexibility of them, literally. It does go back straight after stamping!

I also cut it by hand to get this nifty shape.

One Layer Cards

Welcome stampers!

We are a group of stampers who get together weekly in blog form to create with a theme each week. This is our weekly Create with Stamping Friends Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week is simple, one layer cards.

These are fun to create and are a true challenge!

I did lots of stamping to create this –

So lovely, pun intended!

I started with using my Stampin’ Write Markers for the rainbow background. The colors are Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Garden Green, Blueberry Bushel, and Gorgeous Grape and can be found in the Brights and the Regal sets.

I then stamped the words and hearts in Memento. It always stamps soo well.

Clean, simple, lovely one layer card!

A Little Hello

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Here is this week’s new layout challenge to spark your creativity –

I am excited as we will get lots of new products soon, and, new this year, lots of Designer Series Papers are carrying over! You can continue to buy them! Yay!

One of my favorites is this Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper –

All these images are from the pattern paper! Even the orange! I used the Citrus Bloom Dies, but it could have easily been cut by hand. I paired it with Lemon Lolly, a subtle, yet bright yellow, and Peach Pie as a card base.

The sweet sentiment is from Fancy Borders in Night of Navy. It just fits this card!

What I Will Miss The Most

Our theme this week about the products we will miss the most that are leaving.

There are lots of products that are retiring. I hadn’t taken the chance to use this Linked Together Bundle. So I decided today was the day!

The center lattice-like pattern, and the sentiments are from the bundle. It is soo pretty how this die creates a see through lattice window.

The beautiful cake is from the Wildflower Birthday Designer Series Paper. A couple of the sheets in the pack are pretty die cuts. This cake is just lovely with the lattice.

These Neutral Adhesive Baked Sequins look great in addition to the gold accents on the cake.

This is just so so pretty!

Easter Wishes

Our theme this week is celebrating Easter.

I created a cute Easter card for y’all today. As a bonus, I am using older pattern paper. Look at what a sweet card this is –

This pattern paper is the To Market Designer Series Paper. These are the more subtle patterns that were very spring-like to me.

I used a simple layout, adding a stitched circle framing two bunnies.

To create the bunnies, I used the Meant To Bee Dies. I never saw bees in these dies, I always saw bunny ears. What do you see?

Some fun, bright, cheery colors this week!

I used a new stamp set, Impressions Abloom, that will be available in May to create this card –

This great design was one of the layouts at the After Hours party on the recent OnStage event I attended. I adapted using these colors, adding additional layers.

I added a few of these Ombre Matte Dots to bring a little more of the Calypso Coral.

These colors are great for spring!

Our theme this week Spring cards!

If you have been following me for a few years, you know I love a great tulip card. Usually created from something unexpected. Today’s card is no different –

My tulip flowers are from the Planted Paradise stamp set. Each stamp is double sided. I used the solid side for my flowers, leaves, and stems.

As a way to see how colors go together, I used Poppy Parade, Melon Mambo, and the new upcoming In Color, Strawberry Slush. Yes, thay color may sound familiar as is an older color that has been brought back for a couple of years.

The Memorable Blooms sets the stage for my lovely tulips.

Look at this adorable pattern paper –

This is the On The Go Designer Series Paper. It is a fun, travel theme in pink shades and a returning color, Strawberry Slush. It will be one of the 2025-2027 In Colors.

It pairs well with Shy Shamrock. I die cut one of the keys in it and you can see a little peeking under the key pattern paper.

These keys and the key tag are from the Tags To Go Dies. Soo sweet for creating fun cards like this or ephemera too! The Strawberry Slush twine bow is just the cutest holding the keys and tag together.

CASing Connie Babbert

You know I love a card with a grid pattern! And I found one to CAS –

This was a sweet holiday theme, I did another sweet holiday –

Easter!

When these Meant to Bee Dies cam out, this is what I first saw when I looked at getting these or not – bunny ears! CASing her card was my opportunity to make a bunny ear card!

I followed her colors and layout with a horizontal layout as the ears are wider than tall.

Needing a small sentiment, I chose one from the Choose Happy stamp set. They were the perfect size!

You’re The Best

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Stamping Friends challenge!

Here is this week’s new color challenge to spark your creativity –

What a great color combo for some spring-like cards!

I started by stamping the background with the Painted Stripes stamp. Yes, it was tedious. I colored each stripe, then stamped. Repeated until I was finished.

I wanted a full sized, bold stamp to go over the stripes. This pretty tulip bunch from the Mixed Florals was perfect!

After I stamped the image, I felt the card still needed something. The Textured Notes make a subtle edging that is very nice.

Since I had the die cut machine out, I decided to add detail to the sentiment with the ticket edged die from the Grow With Love Dies.

I’d say a great spring card for a great person! Now, who will that be??

CASing Melissa Davies

Out of so many CAS worthy items, I chose this card –

The School Days stamp set is new to the Online Exclusives. Look how sweet –

Wouldn’t this be lovely for a teacher card?

I used the new Textured Notes Dies to cut the Basic White and the sentiment.

I stamped the apples in Poppy Parade two times for two different colors. The second stamp, matches the Bubble Bath apple quite nicely!

The Petunia Pop center sentiment is just as sweet as can be.

The thank you on the card base is stamped in Bubble Bath also creating a subtle background of visual texture.

I used the Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper.

It has lots of elements in the pack – it was difficult to choose which one to use! The cake slice fit nicely on the hexagon shape from the Meant To Bee Dies.

CASing Myself, Libby Fens

I gave this card a modern, March twist –

I say March because I went all green with my card!

This pattern paper is from the Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper. It is a new Online Exclusive that will be available March 4.

The sentiment is also from an upcoming new stamp, Tags of Thanks.

Of course the ribbon and punch have been around for a bit.
