But I am playing along with a sketch challenge today. It’s from CAS(E) this Sketch! –
I needed to make a Birthday card for Crystal. Happy Birthday, Crystal!!
I liked this layout for an ombre paper technique I’ve been wanting to try. Brandi challenged me to use the Delicate Details Lace Tape too. So, this is what I came up with using all these ideas –
Cool, huh? I like the effect. I’m definitely going to play around with this graduated color effect again.
I used the Large Scallop Edgelit Die that I’ve never even used before to create these scallops. I added the lace tape on top and under the last scallop. The rhinestones added a little flair.
My base is Naturals White Card Stock for a little contrast. I’m on the fence about that choice. But, it’s done.
Comparing my card to the challenge, I love it. And, more importantly, Crystal will too!
