Buckle card? What’s that?
It’s where you manipulate your score lines, add two pieces of card stock, one with a cut out, so that they interlock to create a ‘buckle’. Just look at my pictures below!
Cool? Clean? Simple? I love this card! The colors together are quite stunning too. Pool Party and Elegant Eggplant. Since this card was made last month, I was still able to show off the Sale-a-Bration Sycamore Street DSP. It was just too nice not to share with you.
Currently, I’m preparing for my April Card Buffet. Well, this was a card from my March Card Buffet. I wasn’t sure if I would use it in April. I’ve decided not to. So, since it’s a great technique, I decided to share it today!
It really looks way more difficult than it really is. Using our framelits that match up perfectly, you can’t go wrong. I provided a template for gluing, so it would be fail-proof. As you can see, when it’s closed, it ‘locks’ closed.
