Pineapple Thanks

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge!

Here is our newest layout challenge –

I managed to snag a few pineapple die cuts from a friend this past weekend. I was itching to use them. So I incorporated them in this weeks challenge –

I used the Mosaic Mood Specialty paper for the pineapple parts. It looked so very tropical to me. It made a nice, realistic pineapple too!

I also used the Nature’s Thoughts Dies for the decorative rectangle the pineapple sits on. Also, the braided Garden Green strip behind the pineapple.

Since I don’t have the coordinating stamp either, I used the thanks from the Here’s a Card stamp set.

Quite fun and festive I think!

I copied the layout and the colors a bit –

I am enjoying playing around with the Daisy Lane Bundle. Here, I combined it with the Garden Lane Designer Series Paper and the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.

All these colors are very serene and refreshing. Great for a traditional daisy!

Happy Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Here is our newest challenge –

Optional Theme : Melting

Melting….that is a good one that required some thought for me. Then it came to me – candles! Candles melt!

So here we go –

This pattern strip from Dinoroar Designer Series Paper is soo cute! It was my inspiration for the colors.

I used the Stamparatus to repeatedly stamp Happy Birthday.

The candles and cake are from the Piece of Cake stamp set.

I can’t wait to find a special someone to send this to!
