Welcome stampers!

We are a group of stampers who get together weekly in blog form to create with a theme each week. This is our weekly Create with Stamping Friends Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week is fun with dots.

I really liked the new Turtle Y Cute Designer Series Paper, this dotted print was perfect!

And this grill – I hand cut this grill to create a fun Father’s Day card.

This card has lots of texture with the two embossing folders. The Forever Plaid was embossed on the lighter side of the two toned Pool Party. The Dotted Circles 3D on regular Poppy Parade. A fun way to highlight the pit.

Plaid Fun

We are a group of stampers who get together weekly in blog form to create with a theme each week. This is our weekly Create with Stamping Friends Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features plaid fun!

I took this weeks theme literally –

I used three different plaids we have : Pattern of Friendship Die (horizontal and vertical), Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder (embossed to look diagonal), and plaid pattern paper from the On The Go Designer Series Paper pack.

The simple, fun sentiment is from the newer Notes & Totes stamp set. I punched the diagonal paper to look like a straight plaid, then stamped it.

I had initially stamped the Cloud Cover card stock in a plaid pattern background, but soon realized it was retired. Sigh. Quick flip, and it still totally works!

Hello my stampin’ friends!

Welcome to our Thursday Create with Stamping Friends challenge!

Here is this week’s new color challenge to spark your creativity –

I created a trifold card using a new OnLine Exclusive, Impressions Abloom Bundle –

The ovals are also from the Impressions Abloom. You can see them, as it is opened –

You can see the die cut ‘friend’ on the outside. It is from the Friends For Life Dies.

And, the card totally opened –

Winter Birthday

Our theme this week features winter birthdays!

We are having a winter of upwards of 80° here is Texas, so something sunny, bright, and sweet is what came to mind –

Also using new products too!

I layered two pattern paper strips of the Wildflower Birthday Designer Series Paper together to create the side border. I placed those on top of a Forever Plaid embossed panel.

This lovely sentiment is from With You In Mind. I think it’ll be a favorite stamp for me! To tie in the gold from the pattern paper, the die cut tassels were the way to go! I love the detail of individual strings that can be curled!

Deck The Halls

Our theme this week features Christmas greenery or trees.

I am a tree girl, so trees for me!

I love how this pattern from the Reindeer Days Designer Series Paper lines up nicely with the tree. This tree is from the Merriest Trees Dies.

For added texture, I tried the new Real Red Two-Tone Card Stock, embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. I used a small sanding block to show the white core.

The sentiment is trimmed to resemble a tree skirt or tree base. The adorable twine is tied in a triple bow, furthering the dimension of this card.

Our theme this week features cards with punched backgrounds.

I went with a simply created Christmas card –

….using the Humble Home Bundle. This is just such a wonderful set! This card would be great for neighbors, friends –anyone!

I stamped the cute houses on four different colors of card stock then punched them.

I placed them on a Forever Plaid 3D embossed panel creating my background. I stamped a sentiment on one last punched house. I placed this in the center of the houses.

Just cute as can be!

Our theme this week is pleated paper cards.

When was the last time you made one of these? Me, it’d been a while! I am glad we are revisiting this classic idea! Great reason to play with this gorgeous pattern paper, Season’s of Green & Gold Designer Series Paper!

Yes, a bit stunning I’d say! So many great products used!

Here is a zoom in of my pleated paper –

The background is a new embossing folder, Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder found in the new September – December Mini Catalog. It’s nice and large for those bigger projects.

The stamp set and dies are found online in the Online Exclusives. I have used the Greetings of The Season stamp set quite a bit because of its variety of sentiments. The Golden Greenery Dies are great for a variety of occasions, and are not Christmas specific.
