I just love my Thursday challenges.
What I don’t love is having to make a sympathy card.
It’s Create with Connie and Mary day. The challenge this week –
Quite a lovely design I must say.
I needed to create a card for a co-worker who lost her father-in-law unexpectedly. I went with the sketch to create a card for her and her family –
A very serene card.
The three areas in the background were created with the Everyday Chic Washi Tape. You can see the one is very shimmery. Not sure if that is really sympathy card appropriate, but I liked the light softness it added viewing it front on.
The flower is from the Remarkable You set, which will be carrying over in the new catalog, as well as the sentiment from Rose Wonder. And, of course, the flower is fussy cut. I did pop it up on Dimensionals to make it more of a focal point.
