Encircled In Warmth Archives - Libby Fens, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

I know some of you crafters have Make it Mondays, I think I need to have Fashion it Fridays as I am always creating lots of stuff for the weekend! Lol!

Today, no different. I am sharing a Tri-Fold Pocket card for Fun Fold Fridays! Look how pretty –

And, when the card is opened –

It also has a pull out card for writing or adding a gift card – whatever you like!

The main part of the card is a 1/2 sheet of the Peaceful Prints Sale-a-bration Designer Series paper –

I used a strip 5 1/4″ x 12″ and scored it at 4″ and 8″. Note : watch the direction of your print if it has a direction. You don’t want it to be sideways!

I folded both the panels of the card in towards the middle.

Taking the third panel, I made a diagonal cut scoreline to edge corner, to make the pocket. I secured on the outer side with Tear & Tape adhesive forming a pocket.

The whole card is then placed on a base of 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ Basic White. (This is a 1/4 of a sheet of card stock.)

This is a great, versatile holiday stamp set to have in your collection.

To finish off the front of the card, I used the Black & White 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon. It was the final touch the card needed even though my bow is a little wonky, lol!!

Perfect! I have the Gingerbread & Peppermint stuff still out from my other blog hop, so I am really itching to play some more!

I also made a really nifty fun fold yesterday that I wanted to try again.

Here is what I created for you –

So sweet, right? Well………start to open it –

Isn’t this the neatest fold? It is called a Spanner Card. The piece ‘spans’ the front.

It is soo easy! Here is a template I made for you –

Just decorate as you like! Yesterday, I used a piece of acetate for my span, today, a piece of pattern paper.

These mitten gingerbread cookies are the cutest too!

This Gingerbread & Peppermint Suite of products is just adorable!

Especially this Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper. Several sheets have ‘cookies’ that you can use the die cuts to cut out!!! Sadly these ‘mittens’ do not have coordinating dies and I hand cut them. They were easy though.
