We’ve made it to Saturday! Whew! It’s Hurricane Harvey Hoopla here in the land of Pears (Texas Gulf coast area)!!! So, I’ll share a card created for Create with Connie and Mary. My mojo was hard to come by today. Worried about the storm.
Enough wining whining, Our theme this week is Fun with Embossing Paste!
What a great topic as I ordered these supplies a while back, and in the meantime I have ‘misplaced’ my decorative masks I found the Embossing Paste and Palette Knives though. Ugh…..I’ll find them as soon as this goes live in the morning, I just know it!
But, no worries. I created my own mask with acetate sheets and a die cut! Worked beautifully!
I went with new products here –
The sentiment is from the new set (available September 1) Creep it Real, and the pumpkins are from the Pick a Pumpkin set that is part of the Pick a Pumpkin Bundle that has coordinating framelits.
I placed the framelit I used to create the background in this picture. And, yes, I ran it through several times to create the pattern used on the card with the paste. Totally worth it! After it dried, I went over each little + with Wink of Stella for added sparkle. Hard to see of course.
I layered two different ribbon along the bottom, Fresh Fig and a retired Tangerine Tango.
Check out the other Design Team members Embossing paste cards. I know I’m looking forward to seeing them. This was my first attempt at using this stuff. It’s way easy too!
