Time for a Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!
Our 90’s song, ‘I Believe I Can Fly’ theme features birds, bugs, and anything that flies!
Great idea! How about two birds? That are perched? And, a Christmas card?
See? Two birds. Perched. On a Christmas card!
I started with the lovely new stamp set, appropriately called, Feathers & Frost! I stamped the square of greenery and berries. I colored them with the Stampin’ Write Markers in Real Red and Old Olive.
The birds came next. I colored them with a Real Red Stampin’ Write Marker and a Cherry Cobbler Dark Blends marker. I used both for contrast. Then…..I fussy cut them!
I used one of the Layering Squares to cut the focal point out.
I mounted all that on a piece of the Dashing Along Designer Series Paper. It’s bordered with Gold Foil. The card base is Pear Pizzaz, Old olive competed with the coloring in the focal point.
The sentiment is also from the same stamp set!
Quick. Easy. Great to mass produce for the holiday season! Start now and have them DONE before you know it.
Go forward to check out Debbie Henderson, and back to Mary Brown. I know they’ll have some great
