Today Blooms Just for You!

Welcome to the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday challenge! This is the first of three posts today!! Yes, I’ve been very busy!

Here is our newest challenge –

I created a simply fun fall birthday card using the sketch –

Nice, right? I used two different Designer Series Papers, the back, wood-look one is from Country Lane and the kraft pattern on top is from the Share What You Love Specialty. They work very well together.

I punched the sunflower centers first, then embossed them using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder. I liked the random look it leaves. It makes the ‘daisy’ punches resemble sunflowers even more!

A little punched leaf is tucked behind the flower and it is done!

Happy Tuesday Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Here is our newest 2-week sketch –

Optional Theme : Cozy Patterns

I soo loved this challenge this week! The layout and the theme!

I went with a fall thank you card –

I started with the THANKS from the Warm Hearted stamp set in Cherry Cobbler.

The wood-look Designer Series Paper strip from the Country Lane pack and flanks the nicely detailed Tin Tile embossed pane .

The Sprig punched pieces add such a lovely, cozy, warm feel to the card. I love it. This card will be hard to part with!

A Country Home Hello

Welcome to the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday challenge!

I’m playing around with wonderful fall stuff today –

I really love this popular Country Home stamp set! At first, it didn’t catch my eye. But, the more I saw cards made with it, I decided I just had to purchase it!

I stamped the pitcher first, then the flowers over the top.

While that dried, I embossed the new Galvanized Metallic paper using the new Tin Tile Dynamic embossing folder. It goes virtually unnoticed in the catalog. Its found on the same page as the other items in this collection.

I framelit cut the oval. The flowers were colored using Blends and regular markers! Love the combination here.

Favorite Holiday Catalog Greeting – Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop

Happy Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop!

Our theme this week features our Favorite Holiday Catalog Greeting.

Favorites are always difficult as several are always my favorite! You as well?

I went with one from the Country Home stamp set –

I think this is just the sweetest sentiment! I mean, who wouldn’t love to receive this??? It’d make anyones day, for sure!

I stamped the can and the two different flowers from the set as well. All four were framelit cut using the Frosted Bouquet Framelits. They all fit perfectly!

The sentiment I added the frame around it to highlight it.

All of these were placed on a strip of Designer Series Paper from the Country Lane pack.

You’ll notice the little stamped ovals on top and below the DSP, those are a label stamp in the set as well! Just a sweet detail and a great idea using something in a different way!
