I’ve been flippin’ to share this card with you. It’s a pretty one from my February Card Buffet.

Since the Occasions Mini has come out, several of our favorites have fallen out of site. For example, these Circle Card Thinlits. I combined this card style with a new stamp set in the Occasions Mini, Happy Watercolor. And, two other nifty products, Watercolor Wonder Washi Tape and Gold Sequin Trim. Take a look –

And, as it flips open…….wait for it…..

Despite the yellowish photographs, isn’t this lovely?

The Gold Encore Pad really helped to do this card justice. A simple added touch? The Gold Sequin Trim. It comes off the string rather easy. I just adhered them with Tombow Liquid Glue.

As I am preparing for the March Buffet, I do not think this one will be on it. I just have too many things to show.

XOXO Valentine

Started on your Valentine paper crafts yet?

I have. I am planning my January Card Buffet and several choices are Valentine. And, for Leadership, I made this for a swap –

Nice, huh? I think I might do this on the Buffet too, just tweak it a bit. After making several, I’m needing a bit of a change-up. Ever do that?

This was again, was one of those where I just started adding pieces. I started with the tag, because I wanted to show off that punch and it just went from there. The Glimmer Paper XOXO from the Circle Card Framelits was perfect!

(Tip, when using the framelits, place wax paper between the die and your card stock. Make the release a bit easier.)

Now, go create something for your Valentine!

Filin’ & Flippin’ to say Hello

Catchy title huh? But what does it mean? I’m on my way to a Vendor Fair this morning. So this is quick.

I decided to make a ‘file folder’ style business card holder that I could put my card and upcoming schedule inside.

The first picture shows the folder open making my content visible. The ‘create’ from Loving Thoughts stamp set was just PERFECT for this! Love those little details. They are held closed with a standard paper clip.

I decided to do a free make’n take too. It’s the circle flip card. I precut the bases and will just have people stamp, punch and assemble. A simple wow style card.

And yes, I love themes. Loved how the Everyday Enchantment DSP worked so well here. Use what you have, right?

Both of these demonstrate very current trends/products in Stampin’ Up and the paper crafting world.

Pop’n Thx

I know me and my quirky titles!

I was looking through my samples for some inspiration, I have a Card Buffet this weekend, and I came across this card which I didn’t seem to share. It was from a previous Buffet I had.

It was made with the very cool Pop’n Cuts Card Base and one of the newer Circle Card Thinlits dies. Gee, that’s a handful to type! I only added some simple layering and Washi Tape and it’s done. Yes, that simple. That quick. And, no stampin’!

Really, if you have not purchased this die, it is really extremely versatile. Even without the added inserts that make it stand out.

Framelit Flip Birthday Card

Have you been following me the past few days? Whew! Hard to top the previous posts!

I’m sharing something simple today.

This was one of the cards on my August Card Buffet. I showed off lots of new products. And, I just had to show this new Circle Card Thinlit Die. Surprisingly, this worked well, buffet style! I have such wonderful customers!

I went with the Birthday Basics DSP panels on the two sides. In order to do this, you have to start with a piece of card stock the size of the framelit. It worked out well. Some simple stamping and one punch and done!

This card really only looked intimidating. Once everyone tried it, they were thrilled with really just how easy it was.

Isn’t it just adorable?
