I’m rather excited. It’s Thursday. It’s time for a Create with Connie and Mary challenge.
We have a wonderful set of colors today –
Very nice fall like colors!
I did my usual to figure out what I’d create – I pulled out card stock in these colors. In looking at them, right past the colors on my desk was the Thoughtful Branches bundle, stamp set and coordinating framelits. I just got it in. Late orderer.
I had been itching to try creating this –
Nothing new. Certainly not original. But, perfect for this color challenge!
I love it! The petals were stamped then hand cut out. Yes, each and every one other them.
There IS a framelit in the set, but it was really way faster to just get with it and cut them by hand. Sometimes it takes a bit of time to set the Big Shot for each single cut.
I added the Vanilla Baker’s Twine bow. It was just the right added finishing touch for this card. It’s big. it’s floppy. It’s perfect for the oversized flower here.
So, what do you think? I’d love to read your comments.
Since these are such great colors, head over to Create with Connie and Mary to see what the design team members created, and join us! Yes, play along with our challenge!
See you over at CCMC!
