I know, a long title…..but it just fit my card share today.
I have been really excited about some of the new items I’ve gotten in lately. So excited I think it has overwhelmed me and my creative process! Ever get like that?
On that note, I went to my card challenges that I have pinned. Yes, I have a board just for Card Challenges. This time I found a color challenge from Paper Pals Arts –
Some nice fall or Halloween colors. Perfect inspiration to play with my new Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set and Framelits.
I have read several tips on using the photopolymer stamps. I decided to start right off by using my Stampin’ Pierce Mat, although, I haven’t had many issues in the past, I wasn’t taking any chances. The first stamp worked great. The second stamp stamped pretty good as well. I added bats from the September Paper Pumpkin kit, Boo-tiful Bags. Perfect.
Or, so I thought. I tried using the wreath framelits. Fail. More than once. I just need to play with it more. I almost had it. I like a more even edge around the image I’m cutting out. It just was not up to my standards.
I decided to go with this simple stamped design here –
Done. Happy. Satisfied.
I will play around with this wreath framelit a bit more. Back to organizing my craft-room……
