Has bleach ever met one of your stamped images? You’re most likely thinking, “I hope not!!”. But, after seeing my card, you might think differently.
A few months back, a customer asked me to have a few more techniques in my Card Buffets if possible. So, I decided upon the beauty below.
I chose the easel style card base because I wanted a square for my focal point, the flower from Blooming with Kindness. I embossed the flower first in Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I then applied straight, plain, bleach, not diluted, and not concentrated with a nice quality paint brush. I ‘painted’ the petals outward. As the bleach dries, it removes the coloring from the card stock leaving a beautiful result. It’s naturally shaded depending on the amount of bleach used.
Just look at how stunning!
Anyway, this very special card goes to a very special friend, Carolyn. I’ve known her for….years! Happy Special Birthday my friend!
Happy Stampin’
