Here is this week’s new color challenge to spark your creativity –
I was sort of thinking outside the box using these colors –
Before scrolling, any guesses as to how I created the balloons since we have no balloon punch or dies? EDIT : The Online Exclusive Filled With Fun has balloons, but it is not those.
For this card, I created the three balloons adding the strings behind each one. One balloon was adhered to the layer, the other two were popped up on dimensions. I pulled the strings down towards the center and glued them in place. I also glued a tiny double bow on the front balloon.
The sentiment is from a great new stamp set, Simply Said Mix & Match. The border is also from a new set, Labeled With Love. You can either get dies or a punch to cut out the same shape. I went with a punch here.
Enough suspense, the balloons are from the Bee Builder Punch! The bee body turned upright to make a balloon! The string and bow really mask the ‘bee’ look! Pretty cool I’d say!
