Now, this is different, isn’t it?
I needed to make a card for my sister-in-law’s birthday, it’s today. I was stumped on what direction to go in. And, then, I ran across this sketch challenge on Stampin’ Connection, SCCSC164. And, I thought, that’s it! I’ll try it.
I really like the way it turned out. I wanted to use some of this funky DSP, International Bizarre. And, since it’s such a busy print, it worked so well for this sketch. I’m happy. My base is the Naturals Ivory card stock. I think it picks up a little on whatever colors its paired with. i use it a lot. I added the little 5/8 Vanilla Flower Trim from the Spring Mini and, done!
Note: In looking at the post before send to you interweb friends, I did notice I did not capture the beauty and brightness of this unique DSP, sorry.
I hope she is happy that I made this special posting for her birthday!
Happy Birthday, Lia. Miss you!
Happy Stampin’
