It’s Tuesday. Tiptime.
It doesn’t matter if you are a demonstrator or hobby stamper, have a tote for your stamp supplies or a cottage in the backyard, either way, BE ORGANIZED. Make sure everything has a *home*. That way, when you go to create a project for a class or make that sympathy card, for yesterday, you can get it done in a flash.
Then, when you are finished, put supplies BACK in there *home*.
I have all my stamp sets marked with simple dots found in the office supply. I have them marked, color coded, according to mini catalog, hostess, retired and Sale-A-Bration. I have also done this with my Sizzix dies and ink pads.
Speaking of ink pads, I have the Stampin’ Up Color Caddy. Each column is a different color family, like I’m sure most of you have done. However, I took that a step further and put labels on each color, 1-10, plus the letter corresponding to the color family. This way, when I use an ink pad, I know the exact slot it goes back into. Such as, 1B, 2B, 3B…….which means, slot 1, 2, or 3 under Brights.
Nothing worse than frantically looking for that certain ink pad that is buried under scraps of card stock! Ugh, no fun!
I have more *tips* from my space, but will save them for later…….maybe pictures too!
Make a *home* for all your stamp stuff! You WILL be happy you did!
Happy Stampin’
